INFINITE’s ‘New Challenge’ ranks #1 on Oricon’s imported album chart + jacket image for new Japanese album


INFINITE has been on a winning streak in Korea and that success has also made its way into Japan!
Their latest Korean album ‘New Challenge‘ topped Oricon‘s imported album sales chart for the second consecutive week. Woollim Entertainment stated, “INFINITE’s growth in Japan is evidenced through their achieving #1 for the second consecutive week on the imported album sales chart prior to the album’s official release in the country. Last year, INFINITE sold out their arena tour in Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, and Fukuoka, showcasing their popularity as Hallyu stars.”
Hopefully this excitement for the group in Japan will continue on into June, for the group is revealed to be gearing up for their full length Japanese album! An album jacket image was revealed through their Japanese homepage along with the release date of June 5th, so keep your eyes open for that!

G-Dragon and Female Model Pose Topless for Vogue Magazine's 17th Anniversary Cover

On July 16, Vogue magazine tweeted three different cover photos that feature G-Dragon for their 17 year anniversary. The first cover photo features G-Dragon with top model Soo Joo, who are both topless and blonde. Soo Joo hugs G-Dragon from behind as both display their lean bodies and chic expressions. With the same blonde hair and smokey makeup, the two almost look like twins. The second cover photo contains G-Dragon with model Kim Sung Hee. G-Dragon sports a unique hippy look, giving him an edgy and free-spirited atmosphere. G-Dragon also didn’t fail to deliver his charismatic eyes. The last cover photo expressed a more modern feel. G-Dragon poses with model Park Ji Hye for a black and red concept.
