EXO member Chen made various facial expressions while gracing the cover of the March issue of  'Singles' . Chen pulled off various looks, from presenting a pure charm to stepping it up to a more powerful charismatic appeal.   Chen commented in an interview regarding his works singing for drama OSTs and such, saying, "2016 was a year in which I became more ambitious.  Once the activities of 'Hey Mama' had ended, we went straight to discussing our next project." EXO 's Kai is hard at work on the set of his upcoming drama, ' Andante '! Behind photos of the idol warming up from the winter cold with hot packs were revealed on February 17. Kai will be playing the main character Si Kyung, a rebellious high schooler. Due to the fact that the beginning of the drama consists of a lot of outdoor scenes, Kai reportedly spent most of January fighting off the cold as they filmed. The staff revealed that whenever he had the chance, he would use the hot packs to keep his lips from freezing, as to not make any accidental mistakes during filming.  SEE ALSO: Production company of Kai's upcoming KBS2 drama opens up about the idol being cast for the main role Meanwhile, an airing date for 'Andante' has yet to be announced. 

On February 16, the 4th 'E-Daily Culture Awards' was held in Seoul where various artists attended the special ceremony. Idol group Super Junior 's Sungmin and Kim Ji Woo led the awards show while  2PM 's Jun.K and SONAMOO 's Nahyun  were among the attendees. The nominees for best concert were: Big Bang 's  '0 to 10' , Shinhwa 's ' Hero' , and EXO's 'EXO  Planet #3 - The EXOrDIUM' .  The  trophy went to boy group EXO for their powerful stage performance.   NCT Dream also participated in the show by performing for the audience.   The E-Daily Culture Awards was established in order to honor various artists in six different categories: theater, classical music, dance, traditional Korean music, musicals, and concerts. BTS is the top boy group in terms of brand value for February! According to the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, BTS was at the top of the February data, followed by EXO and Seventeen. 34,311,552 pieces of data were examined from January 10th to February 11th. BTS had a total of 9,358,855, while EXO had 5,678,563 and Seventeen had 4,542,648. EXO is gearing up for their highly anticipated collaboration with brand name " MCM"! In their new teaser video for their limited edition collaboration " MCM x EXO", the members are sketching, painting, and measuring by designing for their collaboration! There"s something idealistic about an artist painting or designing a masterpiece by himself, but it looks even better when EXO does it! On top of that, the teaser is made so well it almost looks like an MV teaser for a music comeback, don"t you think? EXO member Tao will be unable to participate in group performances due to an ongoing ankle injury that he has yet to recover from. EXO recently released its new album "EXODUS" and have begun promotions on Korean music programs. While filming its comeback stage for "M! Countdown", the strain of multiple performances left Tao's injured ankle worse than before. Tao was unable to participate in EXO's performance on "Inkigayo" due to his exacerbated injury. He will not be participating in EXO's appearances on "Music Bank" and "Music Core". SM Entertainment has released a statement regarding Tao's injury. The company said that he will not be participating in EXO's performances for the time being and will instead focus on rehabilitation efforts. EXO member Do Kyung Soo has always captured attention of viewers  to his excellent performance on both music stage and drama. The singer-turned- actor started successfully his acting debut with the first role of Han Kang Woo character in popular drama “It’s Ok, It’s Love”. After that, Kyung Soo continued filming for movie “Cart”. The film is about a struggle of workers against their supermarket after they are fired without good reason. D.O.”s performance in both the drama and the film received good reviews. The K-pop world has been reeled with the news that EXO-M Luhan entered the lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Recently, the fellow EXO-M Lay has left encouraging message for Luhan via his personal Weibo on October 10h.  “Goodbye, hyung/bro. If we still have the chance, let’s share a stage to together again. A source has divulged a rumor to allkpop about the potential departure of the remaining Chinese members in EXO-M. This source previously revealed to us that Jessica would depart Girls” Generation and Luhan would file a suit against SM before they were made public. Because of the accuracy of his / her previous predictions, we have decided to publish this latest rumor.  Following Kris and Luhan”s lawsuit with SM Entertainment, there is now a rumor spreading that the remaining two Chinese members of EXO-M will follow suit, sign on with the same Chinese entertainment agency, rebrand, and form a new boy group to promote in their home country. Allegedly, Luhan”s negotiations with SM Entertainment fell through, which is why he made his desired nullification of the contract known to the public. Many sources are indicating that Luhan has submitted his lawsuit at the Seoul Central Court this morning (10th KST). The type of lawsuit he has filed, which is to determine that the contract is not valid and nullify it, is the same one filed by former member Kris. It”s being reported that the same law firm that handled Kris”s case is also taking on Luhan”s. SM Entertainment has responded to say that they”re looking into confirming the situation.  In the morning of October 10 , the lawsuit is filed at  Seoul Central District Court. It is also confirmed that it is the same case with former EXO member Kris who left in May.Moreover, Luhan is going to be represented by the same lawyer who handled Kris and Hangeng”s case. This brings light to the speculation among EXO fans that Luhan”s absences from EXO activities and SMTOWN concerts which said to be due to health reasons is suspicious.

EXO got together with their labelmates S.M.ROOKIES for their reality show “EXO 90:2014“, and now photos from their meeting have been revealed on Facebook!  EXO”s Chen, Suho, Sehun, D.O., and Baekhyun partnered up with their hoobaes , who are members of the SM Entertainment project group S.M.ROOKIES, for a set of photos. left fans worried as he recently revealed he would be absent from their concert in Thailand due to health reasons.   Yesterday, he wrote on Weibo , "I feel like I need to apologize to our fans in Thailand and everybody else.  For a long time, I've had a continuous nervous headache because of excessive fatigue, so that I could not sleep and was often dizzy; the doctor told me to take a break for the time being. I will not be able to go to the concert in Thailand.  I'm really, really sorry.  I tried to take in everything on the schedule, but I don't think I'll be able to right now.  I hope that I can improve as quickly as possible and take part in the Beijing concert.  I hope that no one will worry." Although he asked fans not to worry, fans still reacted with concern especially since there was an occasion during a concert in China back in July, in which he showed symptoms of a heat stroke, such as dizziness and dehydration, due to the heat wave....

With the spotlight on Baekhyun following news of his relationship with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, past photos of the EXO member participating in underage drinking have come to light. On June 19, the photos below of Baekhyun at a bar began circulating on online message boards. The controversy arose when the photos' EXIF data showed that they were taken in March of 2009 when he was just 16 years of age, an 11th grader (Birthdate: May 6, 1992). SM Entertainment acknowledged that it was in fact Baekhyun in the pictures. The agency stated, "It was thoughtless behavior. He is reflecting on it with an apologetic heart."

It seems EXO-K has three new eligible drivers among them as D.O., Kai, and Sehun are reported to have gotten their driver's licenses just recently! According to an exclusive by TV Report, D.O., Kai, and Sehun were issued their driver's licenses at the office of their driver's license test site in Seoul on the 17th. Following the end of their promotions for 'Overdose', it seems the trio used their spare time to fulfill their new year's resolutions of getting their license.  The boys immediately caught the attention of passersby with their visuals and word quickly spread of their presence. EXO's Suho and D.O. reportedly paid a visit to the hospital to personally express their apology to the two fans who were injured from a system malfunction during the group's Hong Kong concert. During the 'EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 - THE LOST PLANET in HONGKONG' at Asia World Expo Arena on the 2nd, two fans were injured from due to a mishap involving the hammock swing seats that the members were riding on. It's said the two fans were treated at the hospital and EXO-K leader Suho and D.O. visited to personally apologize on behalf of their group and the event. An SM Entertainment rep stated , "Due to a system malfunction in the wire installation, two audience members were injured.
