Boy band CNBLUE is preparing to make their return! On February 14, a source from CNBLUE’s agency, FNC Entertainment, stated, “In order to return with new comeback activities, CNBLUE is currently working on new songs.” The source continued, saying, “The exact release date is still being discussed, and we are currently discussing the form of the release as well. We will be deciding on concrete plans for their activities soon.” Meanwhile, CNBLUE’s last release was their sixth mini-album “Blueming,” which was released in April 2016. During that time, the group promoted with “You’re So Fine,” which was written by Jung Yong Hwa. Since then, all of the members, including Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk, and Lee Jung Shin have been actively participating in broadcasting activities.

CNBLUE"s Yonghwa has been confirmed for a special cameo appearance in the Chinese internet sitcom "Diors Man", portraying the friend of a popular Chinese actor, Da Peng. According to reps from "Diors Man", Yonghwa is very in-tune with the current Chinese culture and has a fairly large following in China. They stated, " Yonghwa understands the Chinese culture and is one of the representatives of Hallyu. His hard work and the demand [of him] from Chinese fans helped with us invite him on the show. " Since the reports, both Yonghwa and Da Pen have updated their respective Weibo accounts with a friendly picture taken on the filming set. Fans were ecstatic to see that Yonghwa will be the first Hallyu star to cameo on the Chinese sitcom. Yonghwa will be making his cameo in season 4 of "Diors Man".

CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa  flexes his muscles in the new edition of High Cut magazine! Through his black and white pictorial, CNBLUE‘s Jung Yong Hwa puts on a serious and tough face. With his messy hair and muscles revealed through his sleeveless shirt , Yong Hwa displays a masculine concept in this photo shoot . The pictorial allows for a mature depiction of the artist despite the usual smiles and laughter seen on and off stage. Yong Hwa proves that he has grown and developed over his years of singing and performing. Meanwhile, CNBLUE recently performed their hit song , “Can’t Stop” on  Hunan TV  for Lunar New Year .

CNBLUE”s Yonghwa made fans want to fall into his eyes in a pictorial for “W Korea“! He also gave an update on his upcoming solo album, sharing , “I am preparing for my solo album. Through collaborations, I was able to experience various styles and receive inspiration, solidifying my taste… I will go in the direction I want to the end with honesty.” Check out more of his swoon-worthy pictorial in “W Korea”s January issue! 

CNBLUE”s Yonghwa lounged around in style for “InStyle“! The CNBLUE leader and actor took on the unique concept, “listless morning after getting drunk,” for the pictorial, which was released on November 21. During an interview with the magazine, Yonghwa said of his members , “All of the four members have different styles, making it hard to choose one so let”s go with me being the coolest.” He also revealed that his style is similar to the style shown in the pictorial, sharing , “My normal style is very similar [to the concept"s style]… Although I like a fashion style similar to that of Kurt Cobain, these days, I enjoy wearing training pants.” Check out his casual pictorial and interview in “InStyle”s December issue!

CNBLUE”s Yonghwa and Minhyuk sported items from the men”s holiday collection from American lifestyle brand, “FOSSIL,” for a recent photoshoot in the November issue of “Esquire“. In the main picture above, Yonghwa and Minhyuk are matching in classy dark washed denim shirts. Minhyuk gives a splash of color to the outfit with a red slim tie complemented by a leather watch giving the outfit an overall classic atmosphere and Yonghwa is wearing a similar denim shirt with with a black bow tie and a metallic watch to match. From casual and clean outfits to suits, the two flower boys of CNBLUE are perfectly ready for the upcoming holiday season!  

CNBLUE”s Jonghyun said that he”s taken some selca  pointers from fellow member Yonghwa recently.  Jonghyun posted to his Instagram on October 8, “Selca lesson from Yonghwa hyung,” along with the photo above. It looks like the CNBLUE member needed advice from someone who was more experienced with selfies.  Fans responded, “Your face still looks good even if it was awkward for you,” “I wonder how Yonghwa taught you,” “I could teach you how to take selcas too,” and more. In other news, CNBLUE will be heading to Japan for their “CNBLUE 2014 Arena Tour – Wave” concerts on the 29th until December 4. Do you think Jonghyun did a good job with his selca ?

F.T. Island and CNBLUE will heat up this summer at 'SUMMER SONIC 2014' in Japan! The two bands are performing as the representative Korean artists at one of Japan's biggest rock festivals 'SUMMER SONIC 2014' in Tokyo and Osaka on August 16 and 17, respectively. F.T. Island and CNBLUE will join Arctic Monkeys, Queen, Adam Lambert, Megadeth, Superfly, and Ellie Goulding as the featured rockers. This will be F.T. Island's third time and CNBLUE's second time performing at the event.

It was a boy group night in Beijing as Super Junior, Super Junior-M, EXO, CNBLUE, and BTS picked up awards at 'Yin Yue Tai's V-Chart Awards'! The 2nd annual 'V-Chart Awards' was held at Mastercard Center in Beijing, China on the 15th at 7 PM and saw a star studded line up gather.  Among Korean based artists, Super Junior won the most popular artist and most popular group award in Korea categories, while Super Junior-M won the album of the year award in China category. Their hoobae group EXO (who weren't able to attend due to their showcase) won the album of the year award in Korea. Meanwhile, CNBLUE picked up the best band award, and BTS won the rookie award. Congrats to all of the winners!

CNBLUE's Yonghwa showed his love for music in the April issue of 'Harper's Bazaar China'. CNBLUE shared on their official Facebook , " [CNBLUE Jung Yong-Hwa in April issue of Harper's BAZAAR China] Jung Yong-Hwa during photo shoot for Harper's BAZAAR China", along with some eye-candy cuts of Yonghwa rocking out with his guitar on a bed as if it was a stage. His passion for music and charisma is why fans 'can't stop' falling in love with the multi-talented band leader. CNBLUE will kick off the domestic leg of their '2014 CNBLUE LIVE - Can't Stop' tour in Seoul on April 19-20, Busan on April 26, and Daegu on May 24.
