Shinhwa's Hyesung will kick off a monthly remake project titled 'Once again' in honor of his 10th anniversary since his solo debut! Hyesung hit a home run for his solo debut in 2005 with his successful title track "Same Thought", and the singer will walk down memory lane by releasing remakes of his past songs every month featuring collaborations with artists. He's set to release remakes of "Buen Camino", "Doll", "Love... Afterwards", and more in the form of a digital single each month until the end of the year. His agency Liveworks Company stated , "Hyesung will carry out a 10th anniversary remake project through which he will collaborate with special artists every month until the end of the year. Shinwha, who are on a tour of Asia, sent 15,000 Chinese fans into a frenzy at their Shanghai concert. Their agency officially announced on June 24 that the idol group has successfully finished The 2013 Shinwha Classic In Shanghai , which was held at Mercedes-Benz Arena on June 22. They overwhelmed the audience with their powerful charisma on the stage. They entertained the fans, who filled the arena, by performing their hit songs “This Love,” “A Man I Know,” “New Me,” “Love Song,” and “All Right.” An official of their agency says, “Fans repeatedly shouted each member’s name and sang the Korean songs along with the stars, showing explosive response to the group’s weariless passion.” They will continue their Asian tour in Taiwan on July 6 and 7.

After eight music program number ones with This Love , Shinhwa will be embarking on its 2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic beginning with Hong Kong. “On June 8, Shinhwa will hold its concert in Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo Arena, opening up the 2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic in Asia,” stated Shinhwa Company on June 7. This is the group’s first time in Hong Kong. The Asia tour will kick off in Hong Kong and head towards Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, and Beijing before ending the final in Seoul in August. In addition to the tour, Shinhwa released a special necklace, commemorating Shinhwa’s 15th anniversary. The legends have returned and to no one’s surprise, the men of Shinhwa are dominating on the music charts. Their 11th album ‘The Classic‘ was released along with the title song “This Love” yesterday, and they swept the music charts as soon as the song was released! The song swept 7 charts including Mnet, Bugs, and Naver Music. Other songs on the album have also ranked within the top 10 as well. Shinhwa has recruited the best of the best for their comeback with the composer behind their previous single “Venus”, Andrew Jackson‘s team as well as Samuel Waermo, Robert Vadadi, Lee Hyori‘s “Ten Minutes” composer Kim Do Hyun, Ahn Young Min, Shinhwa’s “Once In A Lifetime” composerBrian Kim, and more. Their title track “This Love” features a trendy beat that will have music lovers grooving along. The group also went where no idol has gone before with their ‘voguing dance’ choreography, which fans got to see on ‘M! Countdown‘.

The ‘original variety-idol’ Shinhwa will be hosting ‘SNL Korea‘ on May 4th! All 6 members will be on the show, and tvN said, “ It’ll be an incredible broadcast, since the Shinhwa members have a lot of entertainment industry experience, as well as wit and laughter. We’re going to do a part of the filming next week. ” Ever since Shinhwa’s debut in 1998, the men have been active not only as singers, but also as actors and hilarious cast members on variety shows. Since they’re quite well known for being a tight-knit and humorous group, many viewers are already looking forward to see how they’ll do on the 19+ rated ‘SNL Korea’. Shinhwa will also be releasing their 11th album in early May, so there’s more from them coming up in the next month!

In Korean, shinhwa means legend. But when SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man gave this name to six teenagers, it’s likely he never expected them to stay together for fifteen years. But that’s what they did. On March 16 and 17, Shinhwa celebrated its 15th birthday at its Shinhwa 15th Anniversary Concert held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall in Jamsil.  Though the concert started in the early evening, fans began lining up from early in the morning in order to purchase official goods from the merchandise booths set up beside the hall. Four hours prior to the concert, the line circled around two nearby stadiums, one of which couldn’t even be seen from the main hall. Though many fans were unable to buy goods, as they quickly sold out, fans were able to enjoy displays set up around the stadium.
