EXO member Tao will be unable to participate in group performances due to an ongoing ankle injury that he has yet to recover from. EXO recently released its new album "EXODUS" and have begun promotions on Korean music programs. While filming its comeback stage for "M! Countdown", the strain of multiple performances left Tao's injured ankle worse than before. Tao was unable to participate in EXO's performance on "Inkigayo" due to his exacerbated injury. He will not be participating in EXO's appearances on "Music Bank" and "Music Core". SM Entertainment has released a statement regarding Tao's injury. The company said that he will not be participating in EXO's performances for the time being and will instead focus on rehabilitation efforts. The K-pop world has been reeled with the news that EXO-M Luhan entered the lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Recently, the fellow EXO-M Lay has left encouraging message for Luhan via his personal Weibo on October 10h.  “Goodbye, hyung/bro. If we still have the chance, let’s share a stage to together again. As a brother, I support your every decision. Best wishes.” Lay and Luhan had been group-mate for years and very close friends. A source has divulged a rumor to allkpop about the potential departure of the remaining Chinese members in EXO-M. This source previously revealed to us that Jessica would depart Girls” Generation and Luhan would file a suit against SM before they were made public. Because of the accuracy of his / her previous predictions, we have decided to publish this latest rumor.  Following Kris and Luhan”s lawsuit with SM Entertainment, there is now a rumor spreading that the remaining two Chinese members of EXO-M will follow suit, sign on with the same Chinese entertainment agency, rebrand, and form a new boy group to promote in their home country. Allegedly, Luhan”s negotiations with SM Entertainment fell through, which is why he made his desired nullification of the contract known to the public. Many sources are indicating that Luhan has submitted his lawsuit at the Seoul Central Court this morning (10th KST). The type of lawsuit he has filed, which is to determine that the contract is not valid and nullify it, is the same one filed by former member Kris. It”s being reported that the same law firm that handled Kris”s case is also taking on Luhan”s. SM Entertainment has responded to say that they”re looking into confirming the situation.  In the morning of October 10 , the lawsuit is filed at  Seoul Central District Court. It is also confirmed that it is the same case with former EXO member Kris who left in May.Moreover, Luhan is going to be represented by the same lawyer who handled Kris and Hangeng”s case. This brings light to the speculation among EXO fans that Luhan”s absences from EXO activities and SMTOWN concerts which said to be due to health reasons is suspicious.

left fans worried as he recently revealed he would be absent from their concert in Thailand due to health reasons.   Yesterday, he wrote on Weibo , "I feel like I need to apologize to our fans in Thailand and everybody else.  For a long time, I've had a continuous nervous headache because of excessive fatigue, so that I could not sleep and was often dizzy; the doctor told me to take a break for the time being. I will not be able to go to the concert in Thailand.  I'm really, really sorry.  I tried to take in everything on the schedule, but I don't think I'll be able to right now.  I hope that I can improve as quickly as possible and take part in the Beijing concert.  I hope that no one will worry." Although he asked fans not to worry, fans still reacted with concern especially since there was an occasion during a concert in China back in July, in which he showed symptoms of a heat stroke, such as dizziness and dehydration, due to the heat wave....

Here's some more eye candy for fans of Kris!  Additional official pictures of the handsome star was released for his upcoming Chinese movie, 'Somewhere Only We Know.'  Again, he is dressed smartly in a suit by the water, keeping consistent with the concept shown so far. Also, the director, Xu Jing Lei, has been uploading pictures of the actor onto her Weibo during their down time.  In one picture, the two appear to be lounging around casually in a park with a crowd of people, wearing sunglasses and enjoying bread with bright smiles. 

Kris and SM Entertainment are reported to enter into mediation, opening up a last chance to reach a mutual agreement before they take on a legal battle. According to media outlets, on the 11th, the Seoul Central District Court referred the case to mediation to encourage the two parties to communicate. This will likely be the last chance that the two sides may be able to work things out with one another before they enter into their formal legal battle. This news has left fans wondering if a compromise could come about between Kris and SM Entertainment. If the two come to an agreement, then this situation could be wrapped up sooner than expected. However, if the two parties are unable to reach an agreement, then they will head into trials.

EXO had their first of three concerts today on May 23, rousing up fans and other idols with their exciting performances.   Meanwhile, member Kris, who is currently trying to get out of his contract with SM Entertainment, was absent, but allegedly updated his Weibo bio before the first concert writing, "Work hard, fighting!"   Fans are speculating this was a message meant for his group members before they stood on stage. Despite the complexity of the current situation, it appears Kris still wants to show his support for the group.  Stay tuned for updates! In the middle of all the chaos, EXO's Kris left a message for fans on Weibo and spoke up for the first time since the news of his lawsuit to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment On May 16, he started out by referencing an old proverb about a praying mantis blocking a wagon and wrote,  "I'm doing fine. I wish everyone the best, and I hope things will be better for you all. I thank all the people who are supporting me, and thanks for voicing your opinions. Wu Yi Fan will always be here!" Shocking news has come for the fans of EXO as it has been reported that Kris is asking SM Entertainment to nullify his contract. News broke in Korea that according to a report by a Chinese media outlet, Kris is asking for his contract to be terminated and has filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Central Court. Specific details aren't mentioned, but the Chinese media outlet reports that the reasons are similar to that of Hangeng and Super Junior's previous situation. It is suspected that there is disagreement between him and SM Entertainment regarding his activities.  [ Update - According to several reports, Kris's side has cited that the idol is being treated as if he is an object rather than being respected as an artist. EXO wowed 10,000 Chinese fans through their comeback show! The boys were in Shanghai on the 11th for their 'EXO THE 2ND MINI ALBUM COMEBACK SHOW' to sound the alarm for their "Overdose" comeback. 10,000 fans came to see the boys perform 7 songs, including new songs such as "Overdose" and "Run" as well as their older hits "MAMA", "Wolf", and "Growl". The boys also released a promotion highlight video, introduced the new album and choreo to the fans, and even played various games with the audience. The comeback show will also air on TV as a special program.

The boys had been pushing their comeback since April 15th because of the Sewol ferry incident, but the boys will finally be releasing their album officially on the 7th after the Korean holidays are over. It seems like EXO will be the first big group to have a comeback after the ferry incident. SM Entertainment revealed, " EXO's mini album 'Overdose', which had been delayed after we heard the bad news of the Sewol ferry sinking to offer our condolences, will be released on May 7th. SM Entertainment and EXO hope to give comfort and strength during these hard times by doing our best where we are. We once again give our condolences and put our hearts together. EXO member Lu Han will be making his acting debut in an upcoming Chinese film tentatively titled " Mid-Twenties ". The upcoming movie tells the story of a man in his 70s who finds himself transformed into a 20 something again. The film is a remake of the Korean film " Miss Granny ". Lu Han's role in the film will be to play the grandson of the female lead. This marks his first time being cast in any production. SM Entertainment stated that it is adjusting EXO-M 's promotional schedule to accommodate Lu Han's film schedule. Zi Shan Yang and Wilson Chen also star in the film.

Exo members recently went to China to film popular variety show ‘Happy Camp’. The episode was aired on 6th July, it was revealed during the show that Tao is the most childish member. The reason why Exo members picked Tao as the most childish member is because Tao always asks members to shower together with him. Exo-M’s leader Kris says “I don’t know why Tao likes to ask others to shower with him especially when he is all grown up now.” After a round of research, turns out that everyone from Exo, except for Luhan and Lay, has accompanied Tao to shower before. To this, Tao explains “There are two main reasons, firstly is that I’m worried that they do not shower. Secondly is that we often reach home around 3 a.m., I’m scared.” Being chosen as the most childish member, Tao was also punished to do kwiyomi for fans.

The boys of EXO-M won the ‘Most Popular Band’ award at last night’s  ’13th Annual Billboard Music Festival‘. On April 14th,  the 13th ’Mongolian Cow Sour Yogurt Annual Billboard Music Festival‘ aka ‘13th Billboard  Music Festival ‘ was held at Shenzhen Poly Theater in Nanshan District (Shenzhen, China). EXO-M were awarded the “ Most Popular Band ” award for the second year in a row. In addition to a great thank you speech after winning, EXO-M took to the stage performing, “Angel” and their hit track ”MAMA”. The group again wowed with their intriguing choreography and vocal talents. EXO recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary and fans are eagerly waiting for their comeback.
