CNBLUE"s Yonghwa has been confirmed for a special cameo appearance in the Chinese internet sitcom "Diors Man", portraying the friend of a popular Chinese actor, Da Peng. According to reps from "Diors Man", Yonghwa is very in-tune with the current Chinese culture and has a fairly large following in China. They stated, " Yonghwa understands the Chinese culture and is one of the representatives of Hallyu. His hard work and the demand [of him] from Chinese fans helped with us invite him on the show. " Since the reports, both Yonghwa and Da Pen have updated their respective Weibo accounts with a friendly picture taken on the filming set. Fans were ecstatic to see that Yonghwa will be the first Hallyu star to cameo on the Chinese sitcom. Yonghwa will be making his cameo in season 4 of "Diors Man".

CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa  flexes his muscles in the new edition of High Cut magazine! Through his black and white pictorial, CNBLUE‘s Jung Yong Hwa puts on a serious and tough face. With his messy hair and muscles revealed through his sleeveless shirt , Yong Hwa displays a masculine concept in this photo shoot . The pictorial allows for a mature depiction of the artist despite the usual smiles and laughter seen on and off stage. Yong Hwa proves that he has grown and developed over his years of singing and performing. Meanwhile, CNBLUE recently performed their hit song , “Can’t Stop” on  Hunan TV  for Lunar New Year .  

     

Memories are many things. They are happy, sad, good and bad. They are the boundless remnants of days past, which CN Blue‘s leader evokes for his debut album. Jung Yong-hwa doesn’t necessarily break any molds with his solo premiere, but he manages to use nostalgia for a fairly decent compilation of his feelings. As is the norm for most albums, this one has an intro, but it is purely instrumental. The absence of vocals sets up the mood and story of the album. Perhaps the lack of a voice represents the bittersweet silence one experiences post-breakup. This setup also works to introduce the following track by echoing the melody for “One Fine Day.” “One Fine Day” starts off with a quiet piano background and accompanying strings. This soft blend of orchestral harmonies goes well with Yong-hwa’s raspy vocals as he gently whispers his lament in the lyrics. He sings his regrets over being unable to express his love to his former girlfriend, describing her as “dazzingly beauti...

CNBLUE's leader Yonghwa and JJ Lin spend time together to film the music video for their collaboration single "Checkmate." Following "Mileage" and title track "One Fine Day", this will be the 3rd MV released for Yonghwa's solo debut. As BOICE may already know, JJ Lin participated in the featuring and lyric-writing for the song. He also continued to show his support by flying out to Korea to join the secret 27-hour MV filming. Additional photos of CNBLUE"s Yonghwa in the latest issue of "CeCi" were released. The global idol had also graced the covers of the magazine"s issue for Korea, China, and Thailand. CNBLUE”s Yonghwa made fans want to fall into his eyes in a pictorial for “W Korea“! He also gave an update on his upcoming solo album, sharing , “I am preparing for my solo album. CNBLUE”s Yonghwa lounged around in style for “InStyle“! The CNBLUE leader and actor took on the unique concept, “listless morning after getting drunk,” for the pictorial, which was released on November 21. During an interview with the magazine, Yonghwa said of his members , “All of the four members have different styles, making it hard to choose one so let”s go with me being the coolest.” He also revealed that his style is similar to the style shown in the pictorial, sharing , “My normal style is very similar [to the concept"s style]… Although I like a fashion style similar to that of Kurt Cobain, these days, I enjoy wearing training pants.” Check out his casual pictorial and interview in “InStyle”s December issue!

CNBLUE”s Yonghwa and Minhyuk sported items from the men”s holiday collection from American lifestyle brand, “FOSSIL,” for a recent photoshoot in the November issue of “Esquire“. In the main picture above, Yonghwa and Minhyuk are matching in classy dark washed denim shirts. Minhyuk gives a splash of color to the outfit with a red slim tie complemented by a leather watch giving the outfit an overall classic atmosphere and Yonghwa is wearing a similar denim shirt with with a black bow tie and a metallic watch to match. From casual and clean outfits to suits, the two flower boys of CNBLUE are perfectly ready for the upcoming holiday season!  

CNBLUE's Yonghwa showed his love for music in the April issue of 'Harper's Bazaar China'. CNBLUE shared on their official Facebook , " [CNBLUE Jung Yong-Hwa in April issue of Harper's BAZAAR China] Jung Yong-Hwa during photo shoot for Harper's BAZAAR China", along with some eye-candy cuts of Yonghwa rocking out with his guitar on a bed as if it was a stage. His passion for music and charisma is why fans 'can't stop' falling in love with the multi-talented band leader. CNBLUE will kick off the domestic leg of their '2014 CNBLUE LIVE - Can't Stop' tour in Seoul on April 19-20, Busan on April 26, and Daegu on May 24.

CNBLUE's Yonghwa will make his official solo debut later this year! The news came directly from FNC Entertainment's CEO Han Sung Ho, who wrote on the agency's official homepage on the 26th, "In addition to CNBLUE wrapping up their promotions for 'Can't Stop', I have some news to share with you... We are planning various projects for Yonghwa's self-produced solo album which is set for release in the latter-half of this year." CNBLUE will wrap up their comeback promotions on music shows this weekend, but they will not 'stop' there as they kick off the domestic leg of their '2014 CNBLUE LIVE - Can't Stop' tour in Seoul on April 19-20, Busan on April 26, and Daegu on May 24. It was previously reported that CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa has been cast in the upcoming SBS drama, ‘The Heirs’. However, FNC Entertainment stated that the singer has decided to turn down his role. The agency confirmed that Yonghwa has decided to turn down his impending role on the new drama, which has already announced Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye in starring roles. The reason behind his decline is that the production company and his agency failed to reach an agreement regarding the character Yonghwa would play. A representative stated, “Yonghwa will continue to be dedicated to his music activities, including CNBLUE’s ongoing ‘Blue Moon World Tour’ and upcoming album. He has been receiving offers from many productions, we’re sure he’ll be able to return in acting again.”
