Super Junior member Kyuhyun’s father has found himself in legal trouble. His father operates a guest house in Seoul and the guesthouse is operating without proper business licenses, in violation of public health laws. Kyuhyun’s father was booked without detention by Seoul police for allegedly receiving guests at his guesthouse without having the proper guesthouse permits. Guesthouses in Korea are meant as a type of lodging for tourists, where they can experience Korean family culture. According to police, M Guesthouse is a six-story building with only one floor designated and permitted to be operated as lodging facilities. The rest of the floors were to be used as study rooms. However, police found that aside from an underground parking garage and a café area, all the floors in the building were being rented out to guests as lodging.
