SHINee, Infinite, SISTAR and T-ara Confirmed for ′M COUNTDOWN: Nihao-Taiwan′

Mnet′s first global project of 2013, which is set to take place in Taiwan in April, has unveiled a part of its staggering lineup.

On April 14, Mnet revealed that SHINee, Infinite, SISTAR and T-ara would be joining the M COUNTDOWN: Nihao-Taiwan concert.
Local fans and outlets have already shown they′re exploding with excitement about the upcoming arrivals, along with the attention of fans from neighboring countries. The first four teams announced are popular in the regions for their unique images, getting fans to look forward to a colorful range of performances.

SHINee has already held an exclusive concert in Taiwan with 18,000 fans in 2012, and its recent album Dream Girl even managed to top charts in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.

SISTAR and T-ara have also met with their Taiwanese fans through fanmeetings and concerts.

Infinite made its comeback with Man in Love in March, and swept through album and download charts in Korea.
M COUNTDOWN: Nihao-Taiwan will be hosted by Tony An, and even feature, fittingly, performances from 1st generation artists for a mix of new and old K-Pop.

A rep from Mnet said, "Many more popular K-Pop stars that are as popular as the first four to be revealed will join the show."

SHINee tops physical album sales charts in Korea and Taiwan

The SHINee-zombie apocalypse is here – in Korea and Taiwan, at least. The boys released the second part of their 3rd album ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me‘ towards the end of April, and of course topped Hanteo’s daily chart before they went on to sweep the weekly chart (4/29-5/5)! It doesn’t stop there since the physical album sales also ranked #1 on Taiwan’s ‘Five Music‘ Korea-Japan chart for the week (4/26-5/2), showing fans’ immense support for this group. Congratulations to SHINee!
