{TV}Big Bang’s Daesung Pretends to Dial the Wrong Number to Talk to Crush

Rather shy around the girl he likes, Big Bang’s Daesung revealed his way of talking to a girl he’s interested in.

On March 26, Daesung appeared on SBS’ Incarnation, where the topic was on how to enter into a relationship with a special someone.
“I’m really bad at talking and terribly shy. I’m a very careful type,” explained Daesung, as he shared his somewhat timid method of talking to a girl. He said there was a time where he liked a girl that he couldn’t see often, but he knew her phone number and wanted to call in a very natural way.

“While I was worrying, one of the methods that I thought of was to pretend to have dialed the wrong number,” said Daesung, making the MC panel laugh. “Because I’ll get nervous when she picks up, I write a script before I call.”
Daesung went onto say that he pretends to have called the stylist and when ‘realizing’ it’s not his stylist, he would hang up and later text the girl and apologize for the wrong call, leading into a natural conversation

G-Dragon, who was listening to Daesung’s tactics, commented that he has dialed wrong numbers before, but not on purpose.

Daesung got defensive saying, “It’s because G-Dragon has confidence. I just found my way of living. There are several ways within one group.”

INFINITE also achieved #1 on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 4th and 12th as well as on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 31st and April 7th. The previous artist and song that was able to achieve such a grand slam was back in 2001 when Fin.K.L‘s “You Wouldn’t Know” achieved #1 on ‘Inkigayo’, ‘Music Bank’, and ‘Music Camp‘ before it became ‘Music Core’. The reason it took so long for artists to hit a ‘grand slam’ on all three broadcasting stations involved the different timing of the music shows’ ranking systems. ‘Music Bank’ previously discarded their ranking system back in August 2001 and revived its ranking system in September 2007. ‘Music Core’ also removed its ranki...
