[TV] Epik High to Collaborate with Bang Ye Dam and Akdong Musicians on ‘K-Pop Star 2’

Collaborating with brilliant young musicians, Epik High will be performing on the stage of SBS’ K-Pop Star.

On March 24’s broadcast of K-Pop Star, Epik High will appear on the show for a collaboration stage with contestants, Bang Ye Dam and Akdong Musicians. They will perform Epik High′s song, Don’t Hate Me.

Epik High’s Tablo has previously served as a mentor for Akdong Musicians on the show and praised their acoustic version of Don’t Hate Me, saying, “It’s better than the original.”

The K-Pop Star staff stated, “As we were preparing Akdong Musicians and Bang Ye Dam’s performances, we wondered how it would be to have Epik High be a part of it, so we asked Tablo.” The staff added that despite the sudden request, Epik High was more than willing to perform with the aspiring singers.

“Akdong Musician and Bang Ye Dam have always chosen Tablo as the musician they respected the most, and we believe this meeting will be a very meaningful experience for them,” said SBS.

Meanwhile, the competition between the remaining four contestants will take place on March 24.
