INFINITE Announces World Tour, ‘Seoul Concert Tickets Sold Out’

INFINITE Announces World Tour, 'Seoul Concert Tickets Sold Out'
Group INFINITE, who announced the start of their world tour, had servers go down as soon as the Seoul concert ticket reservations began.
Yesterday, INFINITE began selling tickets for their Seoul concert for their ‘ONE GREAT STEP’ world tour.
As soon as ticket sales started, the server crashed due to so many users coming in at once. After about an hour of being flooded with users, the tickets for the concert were sold out.
Due to their immense popularity for tickets, their name also ranked number 1 on the search engine real time rankings. They gained attention as they even beat the Korea vs. Iran game on the search engines.
This is their second sold out concert after their ‘Second Invasion’ concert from last year.
Their agency stated, “We thank everyone for their support for their world tour. We plan to show the fans the group’s best performance and live skills.”
This will be INFINITE’s first world tour and will begin on August 9-10 in Seoul.
After Seoul, they will continue on to Japan, China and other parts of the world.
On the other hand, INFINITE also recently released their first Japan album and is currently doing promotions.

INFINITE become first artist in 12 years to win #1 on the three major broadcasting stations

INFINITE has been sweeping music shows with their latest single “Man In Love” and they’re now recognized as the first artist in 12 years to win #1 on three major broadcasting stations (SBS, MBC, KBS) with the same song. INFINITE recently achieved #1 on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘s first broadcast with its new ranking system. INFINITE also achieved #1 on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 4th and 12th as well as on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 31st and April 7th. The previous artist and song that was able to achieve such a grand slam was back in 2001 when Fin.K.L‘s “You Wouldn’t Know” achieved #1 on ‘Inkigayo’, ‘Music Bank’, and ‘Music Camp‘ before it became ‘Music Core’. The reason it took so long for artists to hit a ‘grand slam’ on all three broadcasting stations involved the different timing of the music shows’ ranking systems. ‘Music Bank’ previously discarded their ranking system back in August 2001 and revived its ranking system in September 2007. ‘Music Core’ also removed its ranki...

On the most recent episode of “Radio Star,” Jay Park mentioned SISTAR‘s Bora once again, revealing how she hurt his feelings after he chose her as his ideal type. The MCs talked about how Jay Park’s proclamation of Bora being his ideal type became a hot topic. MC Kyuhyun started off by saying, “They say that when idols have interest in someone, they send signals on air. But Jay Park, you send signals way too often.” Then Jay Park coolly responded, “Should I send one right now too? Bora!” as he pointed directly to the camera. But Jay Park continued, “I said that I liked Bora but people kept asking about her so I changed my ideal type to other people. What’s the use of mentioning Bora when things didn’t work out with her,” which made everyone laugh. He continued, “But after I started to mention Bora, I saw her backstage at a music program. She was walking in my direction with a staff member but when she saw me, she switched sides with the staff member so she wouldn’t com...
