PSY, 2NE1, G-Dragon, SHINee, HyunA, and Other K-Pop Artists Nominated for World Music Awards
Numerous K-Pop artists have once again been nominated for the World Music Awards, the international awards show that annually honors recording artists based on worldwide sales.
For 2013, PSY, 2NE1, G-Dragon, HyunA, and SHINee have been nominated for several awards and more, along with other K-Pop stars. 
PSY is a nominee in five categories: World’s Best Song, World’s Best Video, World’s Best Live Act, World’s Best Male Artist, and World’s Best Entertainer.
G-Dragon is also nominated for World’s Best Male Artist, along with other world artists Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.
SHINee’s “Dream Girl-Misconceptions of You” is nominated for the World’s Best Album category.
Big Bang’s “Fantastic Baby” is nominated for World’s Best Video, along with PSY’s “Gangnam Style.”
2NE1 and SHINee join PSY for World’s Best Live Act.
For World’s Best Female Artist, HyunA and f(x)‘s Victoria (under her Chinese name Song Qian) are nominated, along with Adele, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Mariah Carey.
In the category for World’s Best Group, SHINee, 2NE1, Big Bang, Girls’ Generation, SISTAR19, Wonder Girls, and Super Junior are the K-Pop groups nominated, joining the Jonas Brothers, Westlife, Arashi, and SMAP among others.
PSY, HyunA, G-Dragon, SHINee, and f(x)’s Victoria compete with one another for “World’s Best Entertainer.”
For World’s Best Act, SHINee, 2NE1, and G-Dragon are nominated, and for World’s Best Song, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentlemen” are on the list, along with Lee Hi‘s “1,2,3,4,” and Ailee‘s “I Will Show You.”

The lads of U-KISS might not be able to date due to their busy schedules but have confessed their wish to have their own reel-life romances at the press conference of their Collage Tour Concert in Singapore. Held in the Hard Rock Hotel, members Hoon, Dongho, Eli, Kevin, AJ, Kiseop and Soohyun also shared their excitement on holding their maiden full-scale concert on our shores. “I think it’s been a while since we’ve been in Singapore. Through Twitter, Facebook and everything, our Singaporean fans wanted us back and wanted a concert. Finally, we get to have a concert today and we’re so excited,” Kevin gushed. B.A.P remains popular in Germany

Boy band B.A.P has proven its international popularity as it has been in the top position on the German Asian Music Chart for three months, according to TS Entertainment. The group’s title song “One Shot” from its second EP has been on top since it was released in March, beating songs by other popular Korean idols including G-Dragon of Big Bang, SHINee and 4Minute. The group that made its debut in January 2012 has stayed on top with “No Mercy” for two months. It also set a record as the only K-pop group to remain in the top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks. The agency said that there have been requests from fans in the United Kingdom, Russia, Spain and Germany to see the group in person. The boys recently completed events in the United States as part of the “Live on Earth Pacific” worldwide tour. They were interviewed by MTV in Times Square in New York in front of about 3,000 fans there.
