2AM's Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Jinwoon to move their management to JYPE while Changmin remains with Big Hit

2AM's contract with Big Hit Entertainment is nearing its expiration date and it turns out Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Jinwoon have decided to return to JYP Entertainment while Changmin will remain with Big Hit Entertainment.

According to multiple music insiders in an exclusive by MyDaily, 2AM's contract with Big Hit Entertainment expires at the end of this month. An insider stated, "Even after his contract expires late-April, Changmin will continue as an artist under Big Hit Entertainment while the other three members will transfer their management from Big Hit Entertainment to JYP Entertainment. For their Japanese activities and concerts, Big Hit Entertainment will continue to take charge of that area of business."

A Big Hit Entertainment rep confirmed to Xports News on the 9th, "Jo Kwon, Jinwoon, and Seulong will move to JYP Entertainment starting today... Since Changmin has schedules for 'Shootdori 6' left under Big Hit Entertainment, he has decided to stay. Although there has been no specific contract made, he will carry out his activities for this year under Big Hit Entertainment."

Since JYP and Big Hit Entertainment have been co-managing 2AM together since 2010, fans can rest assured that things will most likely continue as normal concerning 2AM's activities.

Following the release of their third mini-album 'NOCTURNE' last year, 2AM have been focusing on their individual activities including musicals, variety shows, and acting with Seulong starring in 'Hotel King' and Jinwoon taking on variety show 'SNS Expedition'.

INFINITE has been sweeping music shows with their latest single “Man In Love” and they’re now recognized as the first artist in 12 years to win #1 on three major broadcasting stations (SBS, MBC, KBS) with the same song. INFINITE recently achieved #1 on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘s first broadcast with its new ranking system. INFINITE also achieved #1 on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 4th and 12th as well as on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 31st and April 7th. The previous artist and song that was able to achieve such a grand slam was back in 2001 when Fin.K.L‘s “You Wouldn’t Know” achieved #1 on ‘Inkigayo’, ‘Music Bank’, and ‘Music Camp‘ before it became ‘Music Core’. The reason it took so long for artists to hit a ‘grand slam’ on all three broadcasting stations involved the different timing of the music shows’ ranking systems. ‘Music Bank’ previously discarded their ranking system back in August 2001 and revived its ranking system in September 2007. ‘Music Core’ also removed its ranki...
