Since the beginning of the month, the song has been playing as the opening and closing theme for the live broadcasts of the 2013 National High School Baseball Championship in Japan.
A press release on July 26 from the male idol group’s agency H2 Media confirmed that “Sha La La” had indeed been selected as the theme song for the championship’s television airings.
