The university had already accepted him this past year, but his participation in “Superstark K4” had hindered enrollment. The releasing of his debut album eventually took priority over his education. However, his studies are scheduled to resume as he wraps up his promotional activities on his latest song,“Love Love Love.” Roy Kim’s staff revealed that his return back to the United States had little to do with the recent controversy over a possible plagiarism for “Bom Bom Bom.” “It is planned that he will be going back to the U.S. in August, but it hasn’t been firmly decided. An online poll conducted by the website Allkpop found that 64 percent of those surveyed believe Roy Kim plagiarized Acoustic Rain’s “Love is Canon,” a striking change from the A-ha and Kim Kwang Suk accusations, widely dismissed by fans and many media outlets alike. Singer Roy Kim, winner of the audition program “Superstar K 4″, will embark on his first nationwide concert tour, “Love Love Love”, in Busan today. Kim said, “I would like to say ‘thank you’ to my fans at concerts. I will present them my best performance in return for their support”. Kim is gearing up for the concert, which will take place at KBS Hall in Busan. He will also perform next weekend in Seoul and on July 20 in Daejeon. He will sing songs from his recently released album and thrill audiences with a variety of performances, like his soulful covers of songs by Kim Kwang-seok and Yoo Jae-Ha, singers he admires. Kim also hopes to make his fans go wild with a sexy performance that breaks his pure-hearted image. Kim was catapulted to stardom by winning the survival singing program “Superstar K 4″. His song, “Love Love Love” is ranked first on the Gaon chart in the category of online downloads.

Just a day after its release, Roy Kim’s first album has already grabbed the top spot on major music charts. Kim was the winner of the Mnet audition program Superstar K Season 4 and released his first album, entitled Love Love Love , on the 25th at noon. Roy Kim gives off a pure and natural look, wearing a white colored shirt. On April 22nd, Roy Kim released the single “Bom Bom Bom,” an easy, light beat song highlighted by the acoustic guitar. Alongside the release of his first album release, Roy Kim is scheduled to undergo his first concert tour in South Korea, visiting Busan on the 6th, Seoul on the 13th and 14th, Daejeon on the 19th, and Daegu on the 20th.
