The January 2015 issue of JYJ Magazine features the three-member vocal group on a healing trip in Jeju Island. The news resource reported that JYJ member Junsu is entangled in costly and time-consuming litigation involving the construction of his luxury hotel on Jeju Island. Jeju Island ’s paper Jeju Citizen Daily reported on December 10, “ JYJ’s Junsu has been sued for not paying back some of the costs of construction on the 28 billion won luxury hotel .” They continued, “ We are expecting further lawsuit in court, and if he loses his case, he will have to repay over 5 billion won (approximately $4.5 million USD). ” According to the report , Junsu entrusted the construction of his hotel to two construction companies A and B from April of 2013 to August of this year. It was reported that a conflict arose during JYJ ”s press conference held at TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall Conference Room, Taiwan on September 11 when a reporter was allegedly denied the ability to take photos during the interview by the event organizer. Approximately 50 reporters allegedly started a boycott as a result, leaving the press conference. It's been announced that JYJ have brought in names like global superstar  Chris Brown for the track " Valentine" off their upcoming 2nd full-length album ' JUST US'!   Their agency C-JeS Entertainment stated , "JYJ's 2nd full-length album 'JUST US', which is set to be released on the 29th, includes famous American artist Chris Brown's 'Valentine'. This song, which was recorded in a studio in LA last summer, has an addictive loop and sexy lyrics that highlight JYJ's vocals." It has been reported that Chris Brown and Grammy-nominated producer  Lonny Bereal co-produced the song "Valentine". Lonny Bereal shared how pleased he is with how the song turned out , "To the extent that I wouldn't be sure if any other artist besides JYJ can pull off this song, an outstanding outcome has come about." On July 24, it has been reported that the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) issued a sanction against SM Entertainment and the KFPCAI for interfering with JYJ‘s broadcasting rights and promotions. The FTC ordered SM and KFPCAI to take corrective measures within the associations, broadcasters and companies that were involved with interfering with JYJ’s activities. After leaving SM in 2009, JYJ released their first album in October of 2010. However, SM and the KFPCAI released statements to the three main public broadcast channels, six music and entertainment related cable channels, and various music distribution companies, to prevent JYJ from carrying out their activities. The FTC revealed that those statements only explained SM’s one-sided argument, saying that JYJ cancelled their contract only for financial benefits and that the JYJ members signed with a different company even when their contract with SM was not over. Sad day for JYJ fans! According to Kuki News, JYJ’s Junsu and Jaejoong plan to join the military within this year. They are currently using this time to prepare for their mandatory service. In Jaejoong’s case, he already received several draft notices in the past, but had his enlistment postponed due to pre-scheduled activities abroad. The report says that it might be hard for him to postpone his enlistment any longer. On July 21, JYJ will appear on “Pop Asia,” to say hello to their Australian fans, as well as share stories about their world tour and update fans about their current activities. “Pop Asia” is Australia’s first ever Asian pop music TV program. The program started in 2011 and holds a high viewership. Sources of the program commented, “Every Saturday and Sunday, we introduce Asian artists for an hour. We’ve been receiving requests for JYJ’s appearance from fans since a long time ago. We were finally able to visit Korea to get an interview with JYJ.” The channel on which “Pop Asia” is broadcast is called SBS (Special Broadcasting Service), which is a public channel and is said to be viewed by over eight million people. JYJ Junsu Reveals Jacket Photo for Pre-Release Song, '11 o'clock' JYJ member Junsu will be making a solo comeback with the name XIA on July 2.
