Jang Geun Suk to heat up Japan’s music fest + gets 10 million followers on WeiboSinger and actor Jang Geun Suk will be performing in two major music festivals in Japan.
Jang Geun Suk’s project group Team H has been invited to two popular Japanese summer music festivals, namely ‘MTV Zushi FES 13’ and ‘Summer Sonic 2013’. In the festivals, he will be bumping his shoulders with prominent rock musicians, such as Metallica, Muse and Linkin’ Park.
Jang Geun Suk will perform at ‘MTV Zushi FES 13’ on August 9, then move on to ‘Summer Sonic 2013’ the next day on August 10. This will mark his second time at ‘Summer Sonic’, where CNBLUE and FT Island confirmed their performance as well this year.
Also, Jang Geun Suk has become the Korean celebrity with the most number of followers on Chinese social networking service Weibo, the Chinese variation of Twitter. The actor amassed 10 million followers in less than two years after setting up the account in August 2011.

[K-pop] CN Blue Sells Out Concerts and Adds Extra Shows to Tour

Already causing waves of success, CN Blue sold out several of its concerts overseas. According to FNC Entertainment, CN BLUE’s upcoming concerts for the 2013 CN Blue World Tour in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore have all sold out.  With overflowing requests from fans, the group has decided to add one more show to its Hong Kong stop, especially after 7000 seats were sold out five minutes after ticketing opened. CN Blue will be performing in Hong Kong on May 10 and 11. Not only that, Malaysia has been added to the impressive list of tour stops, which include Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Philippines, and China. The group will perform at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium Negara on August 24. “When tickets for the Philippines concert sold out, the fans in Malaysia, who weren’t able to get tickets, began sending in requests, so we finalized a performance in Malaysia,” said an agency staff member. [K-pop] Teen Top to Embark in Asia Tour after First Exclusive Concert

For the first time since debut, Teen Top will be traveling around Asia. On March 13, T.O.P Media announced that Teen Top will be holding its first exclusive concert as well as a tour around Asia. “There were a lot of requests for an exclusive concert by fans in Korea, so the members are nervous to actually do one. They are currently working hard with album promotions and concert preparations, so look forward to it.” The first exclusive concert in Korea will be held on May 11 and 12 and will be followed by the 2013 Teen Top No.1 Asia Tour in Kobe on May 15 and Tokyo on May 21 and 22.
