EAT YOU ALIVE will Disband
Shocking news reached us today: Japanese band EAT YOU ALIVE announced to disband after being active for almost 8 years.
Right now there aren't many details revealed. Most of the members already commented on it on their personal blogs but didn't give an actual reason for their decision.
The band's last live has a pretty long title: "shi wo sasou shidarezakura muku no hinagiku bibou no bara kyomu no pansy shi no keshi omoide no wasurenagusa". It will be held in their hometown Nagoya at Nagoya E.L.L. on December 30th.

If you're in Nagoya this August there's another live you might be interested in. You can vote for your favorite songs until August 15th! The 15 songs with the most votes will be played at their live at Nagoya ell. SIZE on August 23rd. Just send a mail with your 7 favorite songs to order@black-flag.jp.
Furthermore, their last one man tour includes 3 lives. The first one will be held at Shibuya RUIDO K2 on November 29th, the second one at Osaka Live Space BAR SHRIMP on December 7th and their last one, as stated above, at Nagoya E.L.L. on December 30th.

FTISLAND Ranks First Place on Japan Weekly Album Sales Chart

Group FTISLAND has reached the top of the Japan album sales chart for their 3rd Japanese album, RATED-FT . This album was released on June 12 and has ranked number 1 on the Yamino Music weekly albums sales chart. This album includes the title song, “FREEDOM” as well as a self-composed song by member Choi Jong Hoon titled, “Hold My Hand” and Lee Hong Ki’s self-composed song, “Black Chocolate” and “Orange Sky.” Lee Jae Jin also has his own song titled, “Time to” included as well. This album features a total of 11 songs and features a mix of the band’s own style of music. On the other hand, they are currently on their Japan arena tour and will be performing in Nagoya today and tomorrow. They will head to Osaka on June 29-30 and to other cities in July.
