G-Dragon lands the cover of 'HYPEBEAST' magazine


G-Dragon is receiving attention all over the world for his accomplishments in music and fashion and the latest to recognize his achievements is 'HYPEBEAST'!

G-Dragon posed for the cover of their magazine's first issue of 2014 titled, 'The Rhapsody Issue', with his signature swag and style that is recognized both in Korea and overseas.

HYPEBEAST wrote, "The rising influence of G-Dragon encapsulates the current state of affairs in popular culture and the South Korean pop star epitomizes the synonymity that fashion and music share. For this reason, G-Dragon, a.k.a. Kwon Ji-Yong, stands as the face of the cover feature — an in-depth look at the synergy between his music and fashion, the interesting partnership that he has with his stylist and what the future holds for the talented artist."

G-Dragon shared, "Fashion has played a big role in shaping my image up until now. Fans and the public have a lot of interest in my fashion and style... My goal is to focus more on my music so that fans can listen to the artistry in my music and understand it."

Roy Kim kicks off Korea tour

Singer Roy Kim, winner of the audition program “Superstar K 4″, will embark on his first nationwide concert tour, “Love Love Love”, in Busan today. Kim said, “I would like to say ‘thank you’ to my fans at concerts. I will present them my best performance in return for their support”. Kim is gearing up for the concert, which will take place at KBS Hall in Busan. He will also perform next weekend in Seoul and on July 20 in Daejeon. He will sing songs from his recently released album and thrill audiences with a variety of performances, like his soulful covers of songs by Kim Kwang-seok and Yoo Jae-Ha, singers he admires. M.I.B to Hit Three Cities in Japan for "Keep Going" Concert Tour

Hip-hop group M.I.B will be touring Japan even before their official debut! Starting in September, M.I.B will hit the cities of Osaka (11), Nagoya (14), and Tokyo (15) in a solo concert tour titled “Keep Going,” an impressive feat for a group that has not even released an official album in Japan yet.  Previously on June 24, M.I. B packed the house with fans and industry reps at the Tokyo Astro Hall for their showcase/concert event. A source from the concert production team stated, “The pre-sale tickets were sold out as soon as we opened the official site and started taking orders. M.I.B is drawing interest from Japanese Hallyu fans for their unique style as a hip-hop based K-Pop idol group. At this rate, a country-wide tour by the end of the year is a high possibility .” Wishing much success for M.I.B in Japan!

Kang Seungyoon releases teaser image for "It Rains"

Kang Seungyoon unveils the first teaser image for his debut track “It Rains.” On July 15th, YG Entertainment updated their blog with a teaser image for Kang Seungyoon’s debut track. He was featured in plain white short and sporting a melancholic expression. Kang Seungyoon’s debut track will be released on July 16th. Currently, YG Entertainment is discussing plans for television appearances, which was not included in their original proposal. A mini-album is also planned to be release by September, while his follow-up track “WILD AND YOUNG” will be released by the end of the month.
