FTISLAND Song Seung Hyun to Play Lead Role in 'Three Muskateers' Japan Musical Group FTISLAND member Song Seung Hyun has been casted for the lead role for the musical, “Three Muskateers.” Song Seung Hyun was youngest actor to play the lead role in “Jack the Ripper” last August and has been a rising star in the musical field. He also performed in Japan at the end of last year and had sold out performances as well. This August, he will be performing in Tokyo with other famous actors for the “Three Muskateers” musical. On the other hand, FTISLAND is currently preparing for the Japan arena tour.

Another act is confirmed for this year’s list of summer comebacks! Earlier today, DSP Media confirmed that A-JAX will be returning to the scene with the release of their 2nd mini-album, “Insane.” Updating their official Twitter account, A-JAX revealed a black and yellow teaser image, highlighting their new concept and style. The message also included a text saying, “A-JAX Comeback Soon..” A-JAX made their debut last year with the release of their singles “ONE 4 U” and “Hot Game,” which was soon followed by their first mini-album “2MYX.”  

After being on hiatus from the Korean music industry for 4 years, male idol group SHU-I is preparing for a comeback this July with a new mini-album. SHU-I consists of 5 members – main rapper and leader Inseok, sub-vocalist Changhyun, sub-vocalist Hyungjun, main vocalist Minho, and maknae, lead rapper and passionate dancer Jinseok. Together, the five made their debut in South Korea on September 2009 with “Bomb Bomb Bomb.” They have been keeping busy in Japan as well, releasing 6 singles, 1 mini-album and 1 studio album, performing several live concerts throughout the country, and conducting over 100 events, well participating as part of the K-Pop boom in the country. SHU-I completed their album jacket photoshoot this month, and has been working on completing their music video recording and concentrating on their choreography practice in the past few days. The tracklist for the mini album was already revealed earlier this month.

Song Joong Ki has recently been filming a TV commercial for the national brand of water purifier, according to TV Daily. A video showcasing the making of the commercial features Song Joong Ki hard at work, focused and calm. He was seen carefully monitoring his own acting, showing that he is very committed and serious about his work. The commercial also showcases his smooth, porcelain skin and his slim body. His smile is sure to melt the hearts of many women, and you might just mistake him for a character straight out of a romance movie. The second part of the commercial is set to start broadcasting on July 1, and the behind the scenes video has already circulated through YouTube, Naver, and Daum.
