Jang Geunsuk to perform in United States for the first time
TEAM H, composed of Jang Geunsuk and DJ Big Brother, is bringing “I Just Wanna Have Fun” to the United States.
The duo’s tour includes two concerts in California, one in Los Angeles and the other in San Jose. This will be Jang Geunsuk’s first time performing in the United States.
Team H was formed in 2012 to pursue his interest and talent in electronic music. After releasing 3 albums, Team H started its first tour in January 2013. The tour “I Just Wanna Have Fun,” which was first held in Hiroshima, Japan, was successful and heldencore tours throughout South Korea, Asia, and America.
Although, mainly known as for his acting, Jang Geunsuk has had interest in music since he was young. He has released soundtracks of the dramas and films that he played including”Beethoven Virus,” “You’re Beautiful,” “Mary Stayed out All Night,” and “You’re My Pet.” Additionally, his first single as a singer, “Let Me Cry,” was released in Japan on April 2011 and charted number 1 on Japan’s Oricon single chart, making him the first non-Japanese act to have a debut single with that performance.

The tour schedule is set for: June 22, 2013 8:00PM at the LA Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California and June 28, 2013 8:00PM at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Ticket sales will start at 4:00pm (PDT) on Monday, June 3, 2013 via ticketmaster.com.

YG Entertainment comes out against the American singer Derrick Bullock for his alleged infringement of Tae Yang's song "Eyes, Nose, Lips." The company warned music downloading websites to stop selling the song that Derrick Bullock released and went on to take action pertaining to the use of Taeyang’s hit-song. JYJ’s Kim Junsu to Release a 2nd Album in July

Returning back to music, JYJ’s Kim Junsu will be releasing a second album.  On June 3, C-Jes Entertainment stated that Kim Junsu will release his second official album in July. “With last year’s first album, he was called a well-balanced and complete idol and received much attention for his sensational music video. We are working hard every day to show another evolution for this album.” The company promised to release a fantastical album that will be balanced out with ballads and performance songs and will fit the summer season. CN Blue takes their tour Down Under

Australians got a taste of K-pop over the weekend when the boy band quartet CN Blue descended on Melbourne and Sydney for its “Blue Moon” tour. After rocking out in Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, the group touched down in Australia for its first solo tour. On Friday, the boys performed at Festival Hall in Melbourne then followed suit the next day in Sydney. Ahead of the shows, four very excited band members – Jeong Yong-hwa, Lee Jong-hyun, Kang Min-hyuk and Lee Jung-shin – took five to talk about the significance of being the first K-pop band to hold a solo concert Down Under.
