Actor Lee Min-ho tops Japan chart
Actor Lee Min-ho topped the Oricon daily chart in Japan on the day of his first album release there Monday, an official at Lee’s agency said, according to local media reports.
It is exceptional to have a Korean actor top one of the most prestigious charts in Japan, though Korean singers have taken the honor before.
“It is very surprising that such a result came out when the album did not accompany big promotions or TV appearances”, local entertainment industry experts were quoted as saying.
“It appears that there have been people waiting until the album release as his popularity in Japan has been proven through DVD sales for his drama”.
Lee earned international stardom after starring in TV drama “Boys over Flowers” in 2009.
The album “My Everything”, which he released to show his gratitude to his fans, includes six songs such as “Always You”, “Love Motion”, and “You, Me and Us”.
Lee, who had a concert in Seoul over the weekend, will now head to Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

HISTORY releases 'Psycho' teasers for Jang Yi Jeong and Kim Si Hyoung!

HISTORY has released solo teaser cuts for Jang Yi Jeong and Kim Si Hyoung! The two images were released onto the boys' Facebook. The photos are blue-toned, and feature Kim Si Hyoung with cornrows and eyebrow piercings. Jang Yi Jeong, on the other hand, dressed himself in leather and he's chaining his own wrists. The boys' title song "Psycho" tells the story of a man going insane because of the love he has for a woman. The song is composed by Lee Min Soo and the lyrics were written by east4A. The album 'Desire' will include "I Got U", a song which member Jang Yi Jeong took part in writing the lyrics for. F.T. Island have become the faces of Taiwanese clothing brand 'STAYREAL'.   F.T. Island are the first Asian models to promote STAYREAL. The brand was opened in 2007 by the vocalist of Taiwanese band Mayday and has stores in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, and Malaysia.
