FTISLAND to Release 3rd Japan Album this June, 'Individual Member Highlights'
Band FTISLAND will be releasing their 3rd Japan album this June.
Their agency FNC Entertainment stated, “On June 5, they will be releasing their 3rd Japan album, RATED -FT.”
Their 3rd album title song, “FREEDOM,” will reveal each of the members individual colors, making it a song to look our for. The album also includes self-composed songs from the members as well.
FTISLAND stated, “Our greed for music has grown. For this album, we have poured our individual colors into it and has become our own style of music. We have always been known to be in the ‘flower rock’ genre, but we feel that our new song will not be in that category this time.”
In this album member’s self-composed songs stand out the most. Choi Jong Hoon’s “Hold My Hand”, Lee Jae Jin’s “Time To” and Lee Hong Ki’s “Orange Sky” and “Black Chocolate” are some of the self-composed songs included in the album.
The music video for “Orange Sky” has also been used as the ending song for the Japan version of Lee Hong Ki’s first movie, “Passionate Goodbye.”
On the other hand, they will also begin their ‘FTISLAND Arena Tour 2013~FREEDOM~’ in June and July. They will also hold their ‘TAKE FTSLAND’ asia tour in Hong Kong and Singapore this July and August.
It seems that FTISLAND will be busy with promotions this summer.

YG Entertainment comes out against the American singer Derrick Bullock for his alleged infringement of Tae Yang's song "Eyes, Nose, Lips." The company warned music downloading websites to stop selling the song that Derrick Bullock released and went on to take action pertaining to the use of Taeyang’s hit-song. Consequently, YouTube and iTunes stopped their service of Derrick Bullock’s song and other music websites are to stop selling the song also. On January 10 YG Entertainment stated, “These past couple of days we recognized the issue regarding Derrick Bullock’s use of ["Eyes, Nose, Lips"] without permission and strongly protested against [what went on] to Derrick Bullock and music websites [that released the song],” and added that they will work harder to not let an incident like this happen again. JYJ’s Kim Junsu to Release a 2nd Album in July

Returning back to music, JYJ’s Kim Junsu will be releasing a second album.  On June 3, C-Jes Entertainment stated that Kim Junsu will release his second official album in July. “With last year’s first album, he was called a well-balanced and complete idol and received much attention for his sensational music video. We are working hard every day to show another evolution for this album.” The company promised to release a fantastical album that will be balanced out with ballads and performance songs and will fit the summer season. CN Blue takes their tour Down Under

Australians got a taste of K-pop over the weekend when the boy band quartet CN Blue descended on Melbourne and Sydney for its “Blue Moon” tour. After rocking out in Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, the group touched down in Australia for its first solo tour. On Friday, the boys performed at Festival Hall in Melbourne then followed suit the next day in Sydney.
