B.A.P remains popular in Germany
Boy band B.A.P has proven its international popularity as it has been in the top position on the German Asian Music Chart for three months, according to TS Entertainment.
The group’s title song “One Shot” from its second EP has been on top since it was released in March, beating songs by other popular Korean idols including G-Dragon of Big Bang, SHINee and 4Minute.
The group that made its debut in January 2012 has stayed on top with “No Mercy” for two months. It also set a record as the only K-pop group to remain in the top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks.
The agency said that there have been requests from fans in the United Kingdom, Russia, Spain and Germany to see the group in person.
The boys recently completed events in the United States as part of the “Live on Earth Pacific” worldwide tour.
They were interviewed by MTV in Times Square in New York in front of about 3,000 fans there.

Kim Hyun-joong is coming back with the role of hero Sin Jeong-tae in the new KBS drama “Generation of Youth“. “Generation of Youth” is based in 1930 Shanghai about youths who go through love, friendship and passion. Sin Jeong-tae is clumsy and random at times but he is the greatest fighter in all of the backstreets of Shanghai. Based on the original by Bang Hak-gi, Kim Hyun-joong is finally making his first drama come back in 3 years. He was to return sooner with “City Conquest” but had to step down as it fell through.

VIXX Holds Concert at Lotte World with 3,000 Fans Group VIXX held a successful concert with thousands of fans. On June 17, VIXX held a concert at the Seoul Jamsil Lotte World for their ‘VIXX Live&Talk Show’. This concert was to celebrate their first mini album, Hyde . Fans stood in line days before in order to get one seat closer to the group, showing the group’s immense popularity. They sang a total of 4 songs live on stage including their new title song, “Hyde.” The group met with a total of 3,000 fans and made many new memories.
