Group MIB Japan Solo Concert Sold Out, 'Will K Hip-Hop Succeed?'
Group MIB’s first solo Japan concert has been gaining much attention.
On June 23 and 24, MIB will be holding their first solo concert, ‘We are M.I.B’. This concert is currently sold out and has been gaining much attention.
After hearing about MIB’s first promotions in Japan, local media showed much interest in the group. Because most groups that promote in Japan are dance groups, they found it to be a surprise to see a K-Hophop group coming to Japan.
Many media stated that this would be the ‘start of a new Hallyu’ with K-hiphop groups promoting out of country.
Their agency stated, “Although it is a short promotion, almost 20 different media and major labels have requested to interview the group and are overall interested in them. We are currently trying to adjust their schedule for these meetings.”
This group has also been chosen to be invited to the ‘Music Matters’ music market for 2 years in a row.
On the other hand, MIB will be leaving for Japan on June 22.

These difficulties eventually led the band to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2005. In 2013, Silver Ash surprised many by announcing their long-awaited comeback. They started out the year by releasing their comeback single "Pretty but Evil", a song written mostly in English, wit...
