From Beast Idols To Actors? 2PM Junho and Chansung To Debut In Film  2PM Chansung & Junho’s Dandy Fashion at ‘R2B: Return to Base’ Movie Premiere
Two of the members of popular JYP Entertainment boy band 2PM are making their debuts in film.
Junho is making his breakthrough on the big screen on July 4 with the release of the crime thriller Cold Eyes while Chansung has just been signed to appear in a romantic comedy tentatively called Red Carpet.
Junho attended a press preview for his upcoming movie on June 19 is Seoul and talked about the experience he had working on his first feature film.
“Since this is my first film, every scene is very precious and memorable to me,” he said.
The idol star is not the only big name in the cast.He had the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest names in the biz including Seol Kyung-gu, Jung Woo-sung and Han Hyo-joo, and says the experience taught him a lot of things.
“I want to be as humane as Seol Kyung-gu, as professional as Jung Woo-sung and look as good as Han Hyo-joo on the screen,” he said of his co-stars.
“I learned so much just by watching the others acting and breathing on the set.The directors, cast and staff took great care of me and taught me everything so kindly that all I needed to do was focus on their advice,” explained Junho.
The local media has said of the 2PM idol’s performance as a detective on the trail of a mythical criminal shows Junho’s potential to be the next big movie star.
His group mate Chansung has also made headlines recently when it was revealed on Friday that the singer had just been cast in an upcoming romantic comedy.
Chansung will play a young staff member of a film crew lead by actor Yoon Kye-sang’s character, an erotic movie director who dreams of making it big with his first serious film.
The 2PM member is not new to acting, however.He made his small-screen debut in 2006 on the popular sitcom High Kick.
Red Carpet is set to start filming soon while Junho’s Cold Eyes will be released in theaters July 4.Fellow 2PM member Taecyeon also has his first movie, Marriage Blue, coming up later this year.

INFINITE become first artist in 12 years to win #1 on the three major broadcasting stations

INFINITE has been sweeping music shows with their latest single “Man In Love” and they’re now recognized as the first artist in 12 years to win #1 on three major broadcasting stations (SBS, MBC, KBS) with the same song. INFINITE recently achieved #1 on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘s first broadcast with its new ranking system. INFINITE also achieved #1 on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 4th and 12th as well as on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 31st and April 7th. The previous artist and song that was able to achieve such a grand slam was back in 2001 when Fin.K.L‘s “You Wouldn’t Know” achieved #1 on ‘Inkigayo’, ‘Music Bank’, and ‘Music Camp‘ before it became ‘Music Core’. The reason it took so long for artists to hit a ‘grand slam’ on all three broadcasting stations involved the different timing of the music shows’ ranking systems. ‘Music Bank’ previously discarded their ranking system back in August 2001 and revived its ranking system in September 2007. ‘Music Core’ also removed its ranki...
