Eddy Kim Returns To Music Land With Self-Written Album In January

The romantic singer and composer Eddy Kim will definitely return to music land at the end of January with a self-composed album. On January 12th, a representative of Mystic Entertainment reported that, "Eddy Kim will be releasing a self-composed mini album in January. Having received recognition by writing his own songs at the time of his debut, Eddy Kim participated in producing the album this time as well." The new album will reflect Eddy Kim’s ‘adventurous spirit’ as a musician. Different colors of Eddy Kim will be contained in each track, entertaining the listeners with cheerful melodies and his voices with different feels. Having officially debuted with the song The Manual, Eddy Kim received a lot of attention by being the first male soloist presented by Yoon Jong Shin.  On top of that, he promoted with his self-composed songs, such as The Manual, 2 Years Apart and Push & Pull, differentiating himself from the other artists. He also launched his solo concert within a month since his debut, spending a busy year actively promoting his music. Spreading his name with his self-composed songs and performances, Eddy Kim participated in producing the album with a famous musician and was able to produce a satisfactory final product. Eddy Kim spread his name by appearing on Mnet’s Superstar K4 in 2012 and signed a contract with Mystic Entertainment in 2014, headed by Yoon Jong Shin. At the time he appeared on Superstar K4, Eddy Kim received attention by being a student at Berklee College of Music and gathered popularity with his guitar playing skills and witty skills in talking. Meaawhile, Mystic Entertainment, Eddy Kim’s agency, has changed the company name this year and will actively promote its artists. Mystic Entertainment, which began as Mystic 89 in 2011, merged with the acting management company Family Actors in Match and Apop Entertainment in July, becoming a total entertainment company.

INFINITE become first artist in 12 years to win #1 on the three major broadcasting stations

INFINITE has been sweeping music shows with their latest single “Man In Love” and they’re now recognized as the first artist in 12 years to win #1 on three major broadcasting stations (SBS, MBC, KBS) with the same song. INFINITE recently achieved #1 on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘s first broadcast with its new ranking system. INFINITE also achieved #1 on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 4th and 12th as well as on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on March 31st and April 7th. The previous artist and song that was able to achieve such a grand slam was back in 2001 when Fin.K.L‘s “You Wouldn’t Know” achieved #1 on ‘Inkigayo’, ‘Music Bank’, and ‘Music Camp‘ before it became ‘Music Core’. Kris (Wu Yi Fan) reported to be in talks to sign on with Chinese agency, Hwai Brothers

Previously, Chinese media outlet, Sina, reported that Kris (Wu Yi Fan) was currently in friendly talks with one of the country”s biggest entertainment agencies, Hwai Brothers. More recently, Ilgan Sports released an exclusive to update on the situation about Kris”s management in China, reporting that Kris”s attempt to get into Hangeng“s agency, YUEHUA, fell through, but he was on the brink of signing on with another large company, Hwai Brothers.    The exclusive cited one rep allegedly well informed on the latest in China. The rep stated on October 7, “ Kris failed to sign a contract with Hangeng”s agency, YUEHUA ,” explaining this was because YUEHUA felt burdened about signing on Kris in addition to Hangeng. The rep continued, “ It appears that Kris is going to be holding hands with Hwai Brothers instead of YUEHUA Entertainment. You can consider him at the stage right before stamping his seal on the contract. ”
