WINNER to be awarded the New Rising Award at “ARENA Homme Plus” ceremony

YG”s super rookie group WINNER will be awarded the New Rising award for “The 9th A-Awards,” and was featured in the December issue of “ARENA Homme Plus” along with various other award winners.

The “A-Awards” is an annual award ceremony hosted by men”s fashion magazine “ARENA Homme Plus” in collaboration with “Montblac Korea.” The awards celebrate people from various fields who have made the year 2014 special. This years award ceremony is set to be held at Dress Garden, Cheongdamdong on December 9.
It was reported that WINNER met their high expectations, successfully making their debut in 2014. The group won the rookie award at “2014 MAMA” and they”ve garnered additional attention from their reality program, “WINNER TV.”

Lee Jong Suk to Hold First Fan Meeting in Taiwan

Actor Lee Jong Suk will be holding his first fan meeting in Taiwan. After a successful appearance on the hit SBS drama “Secret Garden,” Lee Jong Suk’s fans started to form not only in Korea but overseas. After Lee Jong Suk was cast in the MBC sitcom series “High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legs” and the KBS drama “School,” his fan base continued to grow both domestically and abroad, bringing the actor to Hallyu star status. With Taiwanese fans requesting a fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk decided to greet them through an event titled, “Lee Jong Suk 1st Fan Meeting,” which will be held June 1 in Taipei, Taiwan.  Currently, Lee Jong Suk is busy shooting  for the movie, “No Breathing,” and his newest drama from SBS called, “I Hear Your Voice,” which will air starting June 5.  Despite his busy schedule, Lee Jong Suk’s agency said the actor is practicing very hard to prepare for the upcoming meeting with his Taiwanese fans....

Lee Min Ho poses for '@star1' and discusses his popularity as a Hallyu star

Lee Min Ho met up with star fashion magazine '@star1' and took part in a photo shoot and interview for its April issue.  During the interview portion, he talked about his immense popularity in China.  He was asked, " You are very popular in China to the point people call you a god.  In your opinion, what's the secret to your popularity?
