K-Pop has managed to take over Japan′s Oricon Charts.
According to the charts on March 27, Supernova′s new single album I Want to Hug You managed to sell 39,656 copies on the day of its release, rising to the no. 2 spot.
The group was closely followed by Kara′s eighth single album Bye Bye Happy Days at no. 3, while FT Island′s 10th single album You Are My Life could be seen at no. 4 and Boyfriend′s third single album Melody of the Eyes was at no. 5.
MBLAQ′s third single album Mona Lisa landed on no. 8.
On the Album Chart, My Name′s studio album sold enough to grab the no. 3 spot, while on the DVD Chart, Kara′s Tokyo Dome concert DVD and G-Dragon′s DVD set G-Dragon Collection One of a Kind lined up on no. 8 and 9.
In total, seven Korean teams made it into the top 10 of various Oricon Charts.
