What do MYNAME’s song “Sha La La” and baseball have in common?At first thought, nothing – but if you are one to watch Japanese high school baseball, you might have a very different idea. Since the beginning of the month, the song has been playing as the opening and closing theme for the live broadcasts of the 2013 National High School Baseball Championship in Japan. A press release on July 26 from the male idol group’s agency H2 Media confirmed that “Sha La La” had indeed been selected as the theme song for the championship’s television airings. Boy group MYNAME will celebrate their one-year Japan debut anniversary with their fans! July 25, 2013 marked one year since MYNAME debuted in Japan, and on July 30 KST, MYNAME’s agency, H2Media, announced, “MYNAME, who had their one-year Japanese debut anniversary this past July 25, will be holding a large fanmeeting on July 30 at Tokyo, Japan. We are holding this event to relay our thanks to the fans who gave us their support this past year.” The agency also announced that there will be a special guest at the fanmeeting- the Japanese dance group Da Pump, which once formed together with MYNAME at a Hallyu concert this past June. Last year in July, MYNAME debuted in Japan with their first Japanese single, “Message.” In May of this year, the group released their first full-length Japanese album, “We Are MYNAME,” which topped the Oricon chart at number three.  Currently, MYNAME is busy promoting “Baby I’m Sorry” in Korea after the release of a blockbuster-level music video, w

A Seoul court ordered the agency of Block B to return nearly $600,000 to its partner, holding it responsible for not hosting a concert of the idol group. The Seoul Central District Court ruled yesterday that Stardom Entertainment, which represents the seven-member boy group, needs to pay 652.44 million won ($586,990) to Shownote. The two companies signed a deal in September last year after agreeing to collaborate to hold Block B concerts at least twice each year for two years. Shownote gave the money to Stardom Entertainment on two occasions through October of last year. But the concerts were canceled after a conflict between Block B and Stardom Entertainment deepened over the terms of the contract. Shownote terminated the deal with Stardom Entertainment and filed a lawsuit to get the money back. Stardom Entertainment reportedly filed a countersuit, claiming Shownote slandered another singer that it represented and demanded 30 million won in compensation.

Group INFINITE revealed their B cut photos from their photo shoot with ‘THE STAR’ magazine. These pictures were the unrevealed photos from their photo shoot from June. They received many requests to release the B cut photos as well and so they decided to release these photos. The photos were taken with the concept of ‘Summer boys’ to reveal a bright and colorful summer shoot. INFINITE has recently made a comeback with their new song, “Destiny.” Starting in August, they will be holding their first world tour. The next two teaser pictures for B.A.P‘s impending “Bad Man” comeback have just been revealed. Featuring Bang Yong Guk and Himchan,  we see the two dramatically standing in what looks like an abandoned theater. Yesterday’s teasers featured Dae Hyun and Youngjae and wearing masks in a close up shot.  “Bad Man” will be the group’s third mini album. B.A.P announced that they will be having thee title songs in this upcoming mini-album. The album will consist of six tracks, including the already released “Coffee Shop” and “Hurricane.” The other four tracks are as follows: “What’s Poppin,” “Badman,” “Excuse Me,” and “Bow Wow.” The group had previously released their album jacket and a track list.  While “Badman” is set to be released on August 6, B.A.P will also be throwing a concert called “B.A.P Live on Earth Seoul Wanted” on August 17 and 18.

Lee Hyun Woo was spotted at the subway recently, according to TV Report. An online community board titled “Lee Hyun Woo Takes the Subway” posted a picture of the actor sitting amongst everyday people. The photo, taken by some eager fans, shows two pictures. In one photo, he is looking across the subway in a dark blue jacket, surrounded by people who do not seem to notice him. In another photo, he is wearing a hat and is eating a lollipop. He noticed the fan taking the picture and made eye contact with the camera. Netizens who saw the photos had a variety of comments such as, “He’s got the pretty boy pose down,” “Whoa, eye contact. Her heart must have stopped,” “I wonder when Lee Hyun Woo was on the subway,” “Wow, he is so cute,” and “Lee Hyun Woo is a total pretty boy.” In other news, Lee Hyun Woo is receiving a lot of love and attention for his acting in the movie “Secretly and Greatly.” For those of you living in Korea, you might be lucky enough to spot this hand

On 30th, Kim Hyun Joong guested on Kim Bum Soo’s Gayo FM. Kim Hyun Joong also says that “Even if I have a girlfriend, I will certainly not reveal to the public” on air. Kim Hyun Joong then explains his rational by saying “If I’m not an entertainer, I will be able enjoy the fun of dating publicly, but it’s hard to do this as an entertainer”. He also added that “For a girl, the label ‘ex-girlfriend of xxx’ would always stick with her, such things are disadvantageous for girls and it’s unfair to them”. When asked about his ideal type, Kim Hyun Joong reveals “My ideal type is someone that shares the same interests as me”.

We've already reported on alsdead 's two new singles " DIRTY EVIL " and " EVIL BEAUTY ". Two weeks ago they've revealed details on the first one, now there are also details on "EVIL BEAUTY" available. The single will drop on September 25th and costs 1780 Yen. The CD includes two songs: " EVIL BEAUTY " and " Sugar ". The DVD features the PV for the lead track, PV making and off-shot. Unfortunately there's no preview for "EVIL BEAUTY" available yet but alsdead uploaded two new PV previews for "DIRTY EVIL" that will drop in August. Twin duo Tasty announced their comeback with a teaser video yesterday, and today they unveiled a teaser image that looks very much like a men’s underwear pictorial.  In the photo, the twins Dae Ryong and So Ryong show off a toned and muscular body by going shirtless. They also have their pants stylishly unzipped to show the brand name underwear they are wearing. Both Dae Ryong and So Ryong smile widely with their arms around each other, highlighting their brotherly affection. The exact comeback date or title still has been released yet. I'LL update later.

Kang Seung Yoon fans! Just got to sleep through tonight in order to hear his newest music. On July 30, YG Entertainment released couple goodies related to Kang Seung Yoon’s upcoming single “Wild and Young.” CEO Yang Hyun Suk, affectionately nicknamed Papa YG, revealed, “It’s a song in the strong rock genre and, combined with Kang Seung Yoon’s husky and refreshing voice, will be suitable for the hot summer heat.” As seen in the lyrics teaser, YG’s resident hitmaker Teddy penned the lyrics and music as well as arranged the song. Kang Seung Yoon previously released “It’s Raining,” which scored first on both online and offline music charts along with topping the search engine with his name proving his great popularity with the public even before his official debut performance. “Wild and Young” will be released on July 31 and he will have his first performance through SBS’s “Inkigayo” on August 4.

Star Empire Entertainment just released the latest teaser photo of ZE:A member Junyoung through their official FaceBook page.  In the teaser image Junyoung has s soft expression and wears a fashionable jacket. Like the other member teaser photos, this one is also in black and white. Along with Jun Young’s teaser image, ZE:A revealed a part of the lyrics from the song: “One step back.”  So far, ZE:A members Taeheon, Hyungsik, Minwoo, Siwan, Heechul and Kwanghee‘s jacket teaser images have already been released.  ZE:A will be making their comeback in ten days with the mini album “Illusion.” Their main track will be “Ghost of the Wind.” The mini album and the music video for “Ghost of the Wind” will be released on August 9. 

2NE1, Kang Seung Yoon and Seungri Comebacks 'YG Busier Than Ever' With YG artists facing their approaching comeback dates, YG seems to be busier than ever. YG Entertainment’s 2NE1 will follow after Kang Seung Yoon this summer. On August 8, 2NE1′s second title song “Do You Love Me” is scheduled to be released. Instead of the music video that was being produced by Director Seo Hyun Seung, the new music video has been described as something that has been filmed on the members’ cellphones. It was referred to as an emergency change after concluding that 2NE1 is the K-Pop girl group with the most number of fans overseas. YG Entertainment’s head Yang Hyun Suk released a statement via YG Official Blog. He wrote, ” The song ‘Do You Love Me’ was mainly produced by Teddy and goes along well with the song ‘I am the Best’ that was released last summer. In the one of the latest spreads for " Ceci " magazine, the singer Henry not only showed off his body, but shared some insight on his friendship with his fellow Super Junior members. During an interview that went alongside the spread, Henry was asked, " Which hyung in Super Junior can you rely on the most? " Henry chose the member who was featured his song, " Trap ", Super Junior's Kyuhyun . According to Henry, " Kyuhyun, who was the youngest before I came into the group, took care of me well. 4-member Johnny 's group NEWS started their "NEWS LIVE TOUR 2013" last July 26th at the Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium in Tokyo where they announced that they will have their 10th year commemorative event on September at the Tokyo Dome . Time surely flies so fast as the members trace their memories from the past 10 years of being in the group, with Keiichiro Koyama sighting that he has grown as an adult. Further details about the anticipated celebratory event has yet to be released.

You are a fan of Visual Kei band D=OUT ? Then we have great news for you: The band will release their new single " kanden 18gou " in October! They've just announced it, so there aren't many details available yet. But at least we can tell you the date and a few details on the types. The release date is set for October 30th and the single comes in four different types. Three of them will be limited. Type A and B come with a CD and DVD and cost 1890 Yen each, Type C and D are CD-only and cost 1575 Yen each. Details on the track lists will follow soon!
